More Socially Responsible Jewelry......
Alkemie Jewelry is a brand devoted to using 100% reclaimed metal
and is created by hand in their Los Angeles studio.
They have gained international recognition for their original designs
and their commitment to socially and environmentally progressive practices.
Keeping with our Polka Dot theme....
We bet there are a few loved ones on your list who would adore a funky pair of polka-dot socks!
Who wouldn't love the cozy, soft feel of wool, cashmere and angora?
Let the snow fall....
New Arrivals from Sasha Bell....
It isn't often that I am swept away by new jewelry designs.
As a former jeweller myself and as I travel so many trade shows for my business, I am always delighted to discover something new and inspiring.
I also love how Sasha describes her work day because this is also how I feel about my store.
From Sasha Bell: "I am privileged to wake up every morning and head to my studio with my cup of coffee in hand and create whatever is on my mind. I try to learn something new everyday and I am so grateful that I get to call this my job."The Earring Line-Up from Holly Yashi
We love this incredible line-up of earrings, all hand-crafted in California from the metal 'Niobium'. Niobium is remarkably light weight, hypo-allergenic and very easy to care for. Combined with Swarovski crystals, semi-precious stones and pearls, these pieces have a bohemian feel - great with a pair of jeans and a t-shirt or a little black dress.
New Arrivals from Pyrrha...
Pyrrha jewelry is hand-crafted in Vancouver from reclaimed sterling silver, bronze and 14k gold. Pendants, rings, bracelets and earrings are fashioned from 19th Century wax seals. What we love about this line is the significance of the symbols and the stories they tell. These are pieces that celebrate history, the maker's hand and qualities we all value such as courage, devotion and loyalty to name a few.
